Carolyn Konig Design – Aunt Green Quilt Block of the Month
This beautiful quilt was original made in England between 1851 and 1880 and now owned by a family member, Mavis Roberts. The quilt is now located in Melbourne. This quilt is all needle turn appliqué with freezer paper underneath and as well I am offering the stitch and wash technique. You will start with the centre medallion, and the rest of the quilt will be offered as blocks of the month.
As a member of the block of the month program you will receive new pattern designs each month. In this quilt you will use a combination of techniques including appliqué and fussy-cutting. Fabrics are similar toning to original quilt.
