Quiltlite is a 100% cotton woven fabric similar to a loosely woven flannel fabric in a pale cream colour in appearance .  It is used in the same way as normal batting and offers a presence of batting without the bulk which makes the task for hand or machine quilting so much easier. Originally manufactured exclusively for the floating chest piece in men’s suits, this wonderfully soft, woven fabric has found a new pride of place as a lightweight, thin wadding especially when working with Liberty Tana Lawn  of London fabrics. Hand quilting using Quiltlite is a pleasure!
