This beautiful coverlet known as the 'Denver Quilt'. The Medallion Bedcover; England early 1800s.
It starts with the central medallion and continues as a BOM for the following 13 months.

A beautiful whimsical design mainly appliqued, with tear drop rosettes as an inner diamond frame which surrounds the central star, sunflowers, flowers and butterflies. Many different styles of birds, some birds having feathered tails, various sized pedestals for other standing birds. Floral arrangements in vases and bow knotted floral bouquets, hexagon and diamond rosettes. I am trying to recreate my design as close as possible with use of my reproduction fabrics in my store.Fabrics are similar toning to original quilt.

As a member of the block of the month program you will receive new pattern designs each month. In this quilt you will use a combination of techniques including appliqué and fussy-cutting.
Fabrics are similar toning to original quilt. The monthly fabric pieces will mainly be cut Fat 1/8’s, 1/16th’s or 1/32th’s. As my monthly design was a work in progress the cost for fabric kits do vary.
