This quilt is dated 1850 - 1860 and made by Jane Pizar from Ireland.
Carolyn Konig Design’s version of this Reproduction Quilt Design has been inspired by the photo/picture from the Cheltenam Museum Quilt, Gloucester, U.K. Carolyn has not actually seen the quilt.
This quilt is made up of 54 hand pieced blocks, and one large circle medallion centre (equalling 9 blocks) and three borders.
Each block is different, and quite intricate.
